Safety Management Policy

Secure Glass Pty Ltd is committed to providing a healthy and safe workplace for all employees and visitors.

Occupational Health & Safety is both an individual and shared responsibility of all employees.

The following responsibilities are essential to the success of the policy.

Management accepts responsibility to:

  • Integrate safety management into all aspects of the workplace in a consultative framework.
  • Promote communication in respect to safety management as a normal component of all aspects of work.
  • In a consultative framework, plan, develop, implement and monitor the safety management programme including establishment of Safety Management Committees with representation from all levels of the workforce.
  • Designate a rehabilitation co-ordinator.
Employees accept responsibility to:

  • Work in, and encourage others to work in, a healthy and safe manner.
  • Discourage others from working in a hazardous manner.
  • Support and promote safety management in the workplace.
  • Immediately report and/or rectify if possible or practical, any hazardous conditions observed.
  • Co-operate with management in the development of an effective programme.
  • Must wear the appropriate safety attire.
